House
Batteries The "House Batteries"
consist of 6 x 13 plate 85A/H batteries giving a 12v house system
at 510 Amp/Hour capacity. This supplies all of the 12 v
appliances, the 36v system charging inverter and a 240v inverter
for the entertainment system. This battery bank is kept charged from a
switch mode 25A battery charger powered by either external power
or generator. When underway, these batteries are charged by a 40A
24v to 12v charger. With both a 65A and 300A 24v alternators on
board driven by the GM engine, charging this number of batteries
is not a problem. Both the 24v and 12v systems can be monitored
from the drivers console. Supplementary to this are three 85A/H
deep cycle batteries configured as a 36v system that provides a
1000w true sine wave inverter to power up the lighting system and
provide auto ignition to the Rinnai hot water service.

Generator
The "onboard" generator is a Honda EU30is 3000w
inverter generator fitted with remote start controls for easy
operation from inside. This provides more than enough power to run
the Panasonic 1.5HP split system A/C, the 850w/convection
Microwave or the Front Loader washing machine located in the
downstairs bins. Although quiet in its own right, the generator
has been fitted into an acoustic box to make the generator
operation almost silent. The generator is air cooled by two high
flow turbo fans and the temperature of the unit is monitored from
inside the motorhome. |

Water and Waste tanks
A 1000 litre timber / fibreglass tank holds the water for
shower, toilet, vanity and kitchen including supply to the instantaneous
hot water service. This is pumped by 30 litre per minute 12v
pressure pump. Subsequent to this, a fresh drinking water system
is available in the kitchen that is pumped using a second 10 litre
per minute 12v pressue pump from 3 removable 20 litre water
containers.Shower, and kitchen waste water is collected in a 250
litre grey water tank and toilet waste is collected in another 250
litre black water tank. The level of all three tanks can be
monitored from within the vehicle. Both waste tanks have
appropriate valves and snap lock fittings for easy
dumping.

"Landseer" Console

The suspension is full front and rear airbag, commonly known as
"Denair" on the Denning Coaches. The air can be dumped
from the airbags when stopped by controls on the drivers console.
A GME UHF radio with multi channel scanning and "sel-call"
is also fitted on the drivers console. The drivers seat has also
been re-upholstered in the same grey leather trim as the other
seats, the overhead console and door trim. <More
